Effect of energy dissipation on a viscoelastic substrate on the dissolution of surface nanobubbles

Based on the analogy between process of spreading a liquid droplet hydrophobic surface and diffusion dissolution nanobubbles (SNB), shape wetting ridge, deformed by capillary forces substrate area adjacent to contact line three phases, is calculated within framework linear elasticity theory. It shown that energy dissipation in viscoelastic substrates ridge can cause pinning triple termination SNB. Keywords: nanobubble, pinning, viscoelasticity.
